The phone call was by a person called SWIGER KEVIN. The phone call said “Hello Hello Can you hear me?” I answered “yes, who is this?” Then the phone hung up.

The caller called my work cell phone (I am a real estate agent). The caller had my area code so I answered. She identified that she was calling from some organization that I didn't recognize and asked if I could hear her alright. When I replied "yes" she hung up.

It was the "can you hear me" call that was featured on the news years ago. They try and record you saying yes and then use that against you to purchase things or do whatever. I do have an 801 area code on my cell (UT also) but live in Boise. Just fyi.

My phone rang and when I answered, a male voice said “can you hear me?” I said “yes”. There was static and he said something like “hang on my Bluetooth isn’t working.” More static then he said okay and the call ended abruptly.

After I answered the call, the caller immediately told me he is having trouble with his bluetooth...Can you hold my bluetooth is acting up...can you hear me? To which I replied yes. And then he hung up. I researched after the call to discover that he likely recorded my voice saying yes.

This person called and had said they were calling about a job a applied for. I was confused because I had recently applied for an internship and was unsure if that is what they were referring to. The woman asked if I was able to hear her and without thinking I replied “yep.” She immediately hung up and I began to wonder if I was just scammed. I have heard of people like this trying to get the victim to say yes and then hanging up. I believe this person was trying to record my response so they can steal some of my information or make unauthorized charges.

Unfortunatelly I answered "yes" instinctively. He than asked if Sabrina was there, which was a wrong number.
