I received an email from Build With Altitude LLC (from Alisha), saying that they liked my application and wanted to move forward with screening and the application process. I went along for several steps and had a call with a man called Brian who was using a 713-493-3495 phone number. When they said I met qualifications, sent me a generous offer letter, requested to verify my ID (driver's license), and said they would send me money to purchase office equipment through approved vendors, I got suspicious and began digging into the company. The business has several addresses and only two phone numbers. A few things looked sketchy, so I requested business verification from Alisha (who had been prompt with her responses). They have stopped communicating with me since I requested verification. I went back to check, and I never applied with them in the first place (on Indeed/LinkedIn).
