I was extending my car rental agreement for an extra week. I was on the Budget website and there was a hyperlink stating customer service. The man had a very heavy thick Indian accent and pretended to be Budget Car Rental. I paid the 425.92$ for the extra week which ends this Monday, Nov 2nd. Was contacted today by Budget Car Rental asking why I had not brought the vehicle back on Monday and also that I owed a lot of extra money. They did not receive a penny of the 425.92$ I paid for the extra week, and now a bunch of late charges etc.. totaling almost $1000. I filed a fraud report with my banking institution and I am hoping I will be completely refunded which will take up to 90 days, I am a disabled war veteran amputee who survives on Disability. I don’t know what I am going to do if not reimbursed.
