On 3/1/25 I called Fares Journey to buy airline tickets to Scotland as they had the best fares listed on their website. On the call they checked and said the fares had gone up since the listing and the price would be 11741.41 per ticket and I was buying 12 tickets. I told them I could buy them for a lower price on United website. He said let me see what I can do. After a few minutes he came back on and told me those prices were for basic economy tickets but he could give me the economy tickets for the 1171.41 which included free carry on, personal item, pick your seat and free first checked bag. So I agreed and gave him passenger names and DOB. On 3/12/25 I received an email saying "Total price for all passengers including taxes and fees: $13,980.00 USD (Total for all passengers) and the same amount would be charged on your Discover card ending with XXXXXXX. On your bank statement there would be one charge from My Flight Supports for $13,980.00 USD." They also included an Interary which showed tickets were economy tickets. They also included in the letter that they were facing big problems in regard to my reservations and had tried to contact me several times. The emails went to spam which I had not checked. ON 3/11/25 I received same email which I found in my spam which was the same as the first e mail. I called them and they said I had to pay them another $3128.86 for the last 3 tickets. They sent email on 3/12/25 ....we have to answer to the Airlines as well so we put the rest 3 passengers on hold by paying holding fee and only base fare of all tickets was charged not the taxes part and remaining 3 passenger charges." It had been more than 24 hour since I bought tickets so I could not cancel so I had to pay the $3128.86 or lose my tickets so I paid it. Now they have sent me the e tickets which are for BASIC economy and I have to pay for first checked bags which will be $1800.00 for all passengers. I hope you can see why I am so angry about this company. I was quoted a price of $13,980.00 and now it will end up costing me $19,285.78. I have contacted my credit card company and she suggested several steps to take. I will be contacting my State Attorney General.
