But when I searched for it, I could barely find any information about the book and absolutely no reviews. It’s not for sale on any of the platforms you'd expect a book to be sold on. The only thing I found was a landing page where the book is for sale. It’s a very simple black page with just text about the book—nothing about the author—and then a place to purchase it.
The site claims there are over 5,000 five-star reviews, but you can’t click or read any of them. They also display three positive reviews, supposedly from professionals, but when I searched one of the PhD author names, all I found was that this same name was used to promote another book on another similar landing page. That person is fake and not actually the doctor they’re claiming to be.
I didn’t realize any of that before I made the purchase. I bought the book and immediately wondered why it didn’t ask for my address. Then I saw I had paid $19 for a digital download—but they never even sent me a link. The download link only appears once, immediately after purchase, and there’s no way to return to it if it doesn’t work. I was shocked to find that nowhere on the site did it clearly say this was a digital product.
When I checked my email, there was nothing—no receipt, no download link. I tried emailing the contact address listed on the site, and it goes to someone named Julian, which also happens to be the same fake PhD name that appeared as a "New York Times best-selling author" in the reviews.
I truly believe this is a scam through and through. It looks like this person has multiple fake landing pages and could easily be collecting millions of dollars.
