I was looking to self-publish when I came across the Macmillian site, at first it seemed legit, however after a while there were many inconsistencies. I signed a contract for specific services that have not yet been received. After a time I contacted the real Macmillian publishers, and they confirmed that it was indeed a scam as they had no one working for them by the names I gave. The first person I spoke with at the fake company went by Monica Brooks and then Trevor Holmes. Ironically Trevor sent me an email last week warning of a scam - someone impersonating them - which is rich since they are also impersonating another company
