Totally agree with the first commenter. Guest speakers from Apple and Shark Tank? I googled around and they are doing the same thing with multiple cities. DON'T PAY! There are limited pages on this site for being such a big deal and the website Domain Authority is only 4. That's very low.

I, and at least one of my co-workers, received the following email to my work email address on 12/28/2020 from [email protected]: "Hi XXXX, I found your Linked In Senior Accountant profile interesting and we would enjoy your participation in the Boise Women Leaders. We are temporarily meeting by web for safety but hopefully back to in-person once safe. Would it be okay to pass you the details? Truly yours, Shelly K. Fisher, Planning Director, Boise Women Leaders" When I googled "Boise Women Leaders," I could not find an organization with that name. However, when I put boisewomenleaders directly in the URL, a website came up that looks very suspicious. I also came across several reports from all over the US with similar experiences; including, New York, Arizona, Oregon (reported here), Illinois, North Carolina, Washington, Colorado, California. (Also using the name Shelly Fitzgerald as listed as AKA on the boisewomentleaders site). In addition, I tried to confirm the address that appeared at the bottom of the follow up email received on 1/7/21 and it appears to belong to a different business. I did not respond, however it looks as if they are collecting an annual fee of $199 for a webconference event and recording and resource access. There are also several sponsors listed, I hope they have not been scammed as well. There are ticket sales and computer services scams also reported and connected to the name Shelly Fitzgerald.
