I was offered a $30/hour data entry position immediately after posting my Resume on CalJobs.

"Jayden Sutton" reached out at set up a Teams meeting which was just a link to fill out a form with a bunch of questions. Once that was completed, there was a job offer with a W-4 to complete along with all other identifiable info.

I decided to do some research and was disappointed to realize this was all fake. Do not send them your info!

I made my résumé searchable on CALJOBS on August 5, 2026. On August 6, I received a second unsolicited email offering a "Remote Data Entry Specialist" position paying $30.00 per hour. The sender claimed to have found my profile on CALJOBS and asked me to reply for more information. This is the second nearly identical job offer I have received within hours of making my résumé public. The emails use different property management company names but have the same style, pay rate and recruiting approach. I did not respond or click any links because the offers appear to be part of an employment scam targeting CALJOBS users.

Was approach about a job after registering for CalJobs. After going through the interview, they hired me and provided them my HR information.
