I attempted to purchase item May 16, 2022 and still haven't received the item. The only way to contact them is via e-mail. I've sent multiple e-mails and still no item or refund. All they sent was 2 restocked email and an apology they were going to escalate this up to a manager. Then no follow-up emails or PRODUCT.

A friend told me about him getting his cards so I didn't think to do a search of issues until after a month of not receiving my order which was placed on August 31, 2022. I sent a few email messages, sent (2) messages via the form on their website and no response.

I'm still getting emails stating Black Uno Cards are back but yet I have not received my order or even a response to my inquiries regarding my order. I could have spent that $29.95 on a couple of board games from a brick and mortar store.

The scammers are presenting a WORD game that is rooted in Black culture, as well as a "Black Uno" game. They mainly advertise on Facebook and Instagram. The ads look great with people playing the game and the great reviews. So I purchased it in June 2022 and have not received any product or a refund. They continue to advertise on these social media platforms, as well as continue to send emails about their products. I received one email in response to the delay but have not received any other communication since July 2022. When I look at their site, it is impossible to leave comments or see an address. Different people have managed to post comments earlier, but they are no longer an option. The negative reviews stated they were also robbed. It is insidious and unscrupulous.

I ordered the Taboo for the Culture game March 2022. I knew there was a back order but fully expected to receive my game after receiving an email in June with shipping updates. This email stated, they have restocked and have started shipping pre-orders and would do so throughout the month. I never received my game. I emailed the company about my game in July and received a response for which I was pleasantly surprised. They said I should be receiving my game in the coming weeks. Still no game. I have since emailed the company in August, September, October, November, etc. No response and STILL no game. It's a TOTAL SCAM. I really tried to support this small business and US, but to no avail.

This is the same for me too. Ordered in May of 2022 and have yet to receive Taboo for the Culture. I have also emailed, with no reply. I want my money back and this site should be closed down because it is a scam. They are giving black owned businesses a bad name and making me think twice before ordering from these type of sites again.

As I read your post, I thought I was writing it. I have the same problem, I ordered in May 2022, received the same updates, wrote to them, and received one email, stating I will receive my games, but no games came. I sent several emails but nothing. I even requested a refund. I tried to support you but I want my money back.

The same happened to me. I purchased in March 2022 when it was on back order. Post said it will be sent out when they restock in the summer…. Look at that 90 days later. Oh they good. Is there anyway possible this scamming site can be shut down. Or there is no such law to hold them accountable for taking people money and not sending the product?

They are Straight Scammers! You HAVE to dispute the charges within 90 days to be able to get money back that affects their bottom line. If not? You just get a credit from your bank and they still made a profit. They try to drag it out saying it's they are out of stock etc, in hopes to keep you on the hook until 90 days have passed. Then? It doesn't matter anymore because they get to keep your money! This really makes a bad name for Black folk smh

They used to send emails about being out of stock and when new stock would come in, every time I sent an inquiry they would respond. After their latest advertisement of getting more in stock? The STOPPED responding to my emails about them sending me the game. I have sent over 10 emails now with NO response whatsoever, but they keep emailing me letting me know they have more in stock!

I ordered the taboo game it’s been over a year I believe and I have not received I kept sending messages and they kept sending me messages about it being back in stock but never sent me my game! I have multiple emails and Instagram messages asking about my game . This is ridiculous

I ordered Taboo in 2021 and still haven’t received anything. The customer support link doesn’t work on their site, but I’m constantly receiving emails attempting to sell me additional products.

Made my order in June and still haven't received either the refund I requested it said game... They no longer respond to my inquiries... It's now November and I'm going through my bank to try and retrieve my funds... RUN... DON'T WALK...AWAY... THIS IS A SCAM... They fulfill a few orders for appearance sake...

Black Owned Games advertise on social media and has over 5K followers. I placed an order for a game "taboo for the culture" on May 3rd and never received the game. I reached out to them several time and have all correspondence. I was first told it was on back order, next I was told order are in I will be notified once my order has ship (I never was contacted). I last reached out to them in September and was told they thought I received my game, they will check with supervisor and refund my money, and since them they have stop responding all together. I see in the comments on Facebook several people have experience the same thing. BEWARE!

You are right...it's the PERFECT SCAM...even though your bank will say you cannot dispute charges after 90 days? Which is why they try to keep you on the hook for so long before they stop responding. The trick is? Because it's under 50 dollars, your bank will give you your money back...but...they can't get the money back from Black Owned. So...they still win. So I hope anyone who sees this? You have to get your money back in less than 90 days or else they will still make a profit off your money even if your bank gives you the money back!

The same thing happened to me in June 2022 and I got the same email replies as the individual who posted this post. I disputed with my credit card company for a refund. This is a scam company do not order and pay for goods from this company.
