I first made contact with Luis Hernandez through a Facebook ad. He was looking for hands for his construction business and my boys were looking for work. They traveled to round rock, Texas to work for him. Things were going pretty well, so I asked him if he could repair my home from the damage we received in the 2021 ice disaster in Texas. He took the job and I sent a $3k check as a down payment. He kept making excuses as to why he couldn’t make it and eventually stopped paying my boys so they quit. He cashed my check and will not send a refund.
