In the beginning, I was excited—borderline honored—because Hoss finally followed me back after almost a year. My page is mostly “pay-it-forward” stuff: holiday help, food banks, angel trees. I figured he liked charity.
Turns out he does love charity.
Just not for anyone but himself.
I consider myself an intelligent man—skeptical, grounded, common sense on lock. Which is exactly why what happened next feels humiliating to admit.
Hoss slid into my DMs with a warning about shady charities who only donate a “tiny percentage” to the cause. That’s how our conversation started. I said I wished I could give more, but I’m living off disability and still trying to monetize my TikTok. I’ve got 6,212 followers—respectable, but not life-changing.
That’s when Hoss told me he could “change everything.”
Followers. Growth. Income. A whole new life.
And he said we were family.
That word hit me harder than it should have. I don’t have family. Not really. Hearing someone call me that felt… nice. Human.
Fast-forward a week: I sent him $125 to “support the family.” He called it an investment, promised I’d get it back tenfold. And he sounded so sincere. Smooth. Every sentence made perfect sense… until it didn’t.
A TikTok friend warned me he was bad news. I thought she was being dramatic. I blocked her. Now I feel awful—she was the only one telling me the truth.
A few days later, I stumbled into a live where people were talking about Hoss. Not praising—exposing. They listed his whole pattern: follow, unfollow, emotional manipulation, money grabs. I ignored it. I thought I was the loyal one.
Then came the moment everything cracked.
I was cleaning out my friend list and saw that Hoss had unfollowed me. After I sent him money. I messaged him jokingly, “Oops, I think you clicked unfollow by accident.”
He read it.
Then blocked me.
My stomach dropped. Embarrassment. Disbelief. I knew instantly—scammed. Played. And I’d defended him. Lost a friend over him.
And then, just when I was trying to process the shame, Mrs. Hoss messaged me. She told me to keep their names out of my mouth, slapped a copy-and-paste cease and desist in my inbox, and said they’d sued “many people” and won. She said they had a personal attorney. She said they could “find my information.” She hinted she could accuse me of harassment if she wanted to.
That’s why nobody talks.
Not because they weren’t scammed—because they’re scared.
I’m still not sure if the cease and desist is even real. My friend who’s a paralegal is going to check it out. If it’s fake… that’s a different story.
If it’s real?
I don’t know yet.
To be continued.

This is a federal fraud scheme at the very least. From what I'm reading, also extortion, defamation, cyberbullying and more. I've been watching this in real time. I see what Hoss is doing and how he's doing it. I'm not a GenXer, but a large portion of my followers are. I've heard alot of chatter so I'm following him with an alternate account just to watch. My content is in a "special interest" niche, and on multiple platforms. If I can figure out a way to incorporate this subject into my niche, without it looking like gossip, internet drama, or shaming, I can bring this story to a massive audience(s). I'm watching him and waiting for him to say or do something relevant to my channel, so I can bring it up. My followers and subs on all platforms know I don't gossip, or make content about regular people or content creators. I don't even respond to drama when people make content about me. This is one of the reasons I'm successful. However, this person is affecting a large portion of my followers. My discord is limited to only paid subs, and there's more comments about Hoss in there, than there is about anything else. It's becoming a problem for me. I'm not saying this to brag, but across multiple platforms I have over 12 million followers. On several occasions, portions of my content have been used by news outlets. This is important because if I'm able to speak on this, it's possible that mainline media or other large creators might pick up this story and run with it. Hoss obviously wants to be famous, so I'd like to help make that happen. To the victims out there, don't lose hope. You have my attention, I'm watching and waiting for the right opportunity. When you have a large platform, you have to be very careful how you approach everything. Every word and motive will be scrutinized. I see many veterans saying they've been scammed, and that will probably be my angle and opportunity to talk about this, but I need more information. I need the ability to speak to victims, or at the very least, be able to clip their content and use it. It has to be veterans or US military members, that's the only way I can work this into the conversation. I care about everyone, but for my niche, that's who I need to focus on to make it relevant on my channels. Veterans please make content about your experience. Everyone who sees any content, post the links here please. I will have my team check this on a regular basis. This will be arduous and may get ugly, but we'll get this guy the fame he so desperately wants. Justice always prevails. I cannot do this alone, so everyone gather up your information. I'll be the mouthpiece when the opportunity presents itself.

This punk scams people out of money by promising account promotion for 100 to 250 dollars. All old people like my mom. She quit tiktok heartbroken and couldn't eat for a week because it's her grocery money. Disgusting. Someone call the authorities!

Dear scampulse,
I'm gobsmacked after finding this website. This thief has victimized me too. I was promised a monetized tiktok account by hoss. He said if I was sincere and serious about my account to invest in it. I sent him $100 to guarantee at least 10k followers within a month. He said him and his people would promote me. Things went sideways when after I sent the money he wanted more. He said for an additional $100 I could be included in his discord and that would grow my account much faster. I started to realize something was off. I told him I couldn't afford another $100. I noticed he had unfollowed me and I asked him if I did something wrong. He blocked me. My bank wouldn't help me because he had me send the money as "friends and family". A few days later I was messaged by his wife. She told me not to speak about what happened and then threatened to publicly release my name and address and label me as an enemy of the family. She said whatever happens after that isn't their problem. I live alone and I'm afraid. I didn't give my address but they have my real name and email address. I don't know if that's enough to find out where I live. I would like to file a protective order just in case but i don't know their real names or address for it. Also I'm embarrassed I was scammed. I didn't tell a soul. Then I saw other people telling their stories and it blew my mind. How many more people will be scammed and threatened before someone stops them?

If anyone knows big Hoss's name and address please give me that info. I want to take him to small claims. And file a police report too. I was called family and offered a opportunity to get my account blown up. Hoss said he could get me 10000 followers with his eyes closed. He said its his job to help people and he doesn't want to charge me but has to because it's his actual job and he has to make a living. I understood and sent $125. He said it would take a week or 2 to see results. He said I made a good decision and to prepare myself for my account to blow up. I had just over 500 followers. I'm disabled and live on a fixed income. That money was hard for me to give but I did it because he said it's an investment that I would get my money back when tiktok starts paying me. I was excited. The thought of not struggling is a dream come true. After 5 weeks I only gained barely 100 followers and I don't think he did it. I messaged him to politely ask about it. I thought maybe he has alot of clients and just forgot about me. He read my message and then blocked me. 2 days later I got a dm from someone claiming to be his wife. She threatened me and told me to drop it. When I tried to answer I was blocked. I made a video about it and within an hour I got a violation and a dm from someone saying they were his daughter and she threatened me too. She told me to shut my mouth or else she would expose me for being a predator. If I understood right she was threatening to accuse me of something. I'm a 58 year old disabled man confined to a wheelchair. I'm a disabled veteran with 4 daughters and 13 grands. I am no predator. These people are frauds and someone needs to expose this scam. Please help me. All I need is his information. God Bless

Big Hoss Gen X on tiktok is dangerous. I'm a tiktok veteran, I've been on the platform for years. I've watched this person from the beginning. I've silently seen him and his group of people direct followers to follow/unfollow people, harass and bully people and many other nefarious actions. He plays the victim and projects what he does and falsely accuses people of horrendous crimes knowing it's a fictional lie. He's ruining people's lives and their ability monetize on the platform. He's toxic. I saw him and a group of his people harass and bully a woman who said she didn't even know who he was, and then they infiltrated another woman's livestream and attacked her. He obviously has a pattern going after women, and as a man in my 60s, that is a big No-No. I was raised to respect women, stalking and harassment are not acceptable. I'm going to reach out to these women and offer to help them. I have recorded evidence of these incidents, and I'm willing to provide financial help for a Private investigator and/or attorney for these women. I urge anyone seeing this, to also reach out to victims when you observe them being attacked. Sometimes being a gentleman means getting involved in something uncomfortable. Be safe ladies! Block this guy, don't become a victim.

I was a window licker this morning, I saw that lady's livestream. That was uncalled for. They acted like they were the supreme leader of generation X and were removing people from "the family" for interacting with people they don't like. It's giving cult energy!

• Sep 30, 2025

I watched a livestream from the outside on tiktok last night. I was horrified to hear his followers declare him a prophet. They say he's serving messages for God. He encouraged this behavior and elaborated on it. The conversation went deep for hours on religion, worshipping hoss as a leader. THIS MAN IS RECRUITING FOR A CULT. He's obviously preying upon the gullible and mentally unstable people, that's how cults start. Someone needscto report this to the FBI!

Gen X TikTokers please read. Big Hoss's Gen X Family "movement" is not what you think. It's a calculated scheme. Don't send money or support. It's not sincere. It's an act. He has 200,000+ fooled. Wake up! This is about power. Hoss is a narcissist. He's wants to be a leader. In real life, he's backstabbed every "friend". He's a snitch too. He's everything that generation x does NOT stand for. Exactly how cults form. Narcissists seek power/control. Clout farming for fake authority. It's pathetic but dangerous. Keep your distance.

Beware! This guy is on TikTok. He's all about the money. He doesn't actually care about the so-called family. He uses his followers to try to take down other accounts he feels threatened by. He's a coward. He says he won't discuss politics, yet I've seen him on other platforms. He is a chameleon that just says whatever people want to hear based upon where he's at. I've seen him as a MAGA supporter AMD also as a DAR left liberal. He doesn't stand for anything. He says what people want for money. Coward. Narcissist. Drama queen. Traitor. Fraud. Con artist. Scammer. Predator.

I found this website because I had suspicions about Hoss. I Googled "Big Hoss Scam" to see what I would find. I found many things including this page. I'm not surprised by what I’ve found. This confirms what I suspected. I should explain why I'm here and why I Googled this. I'm a Gen X content creator on Tiktok. I have a very large following, much larger than Hoss. I won't be sharing my name here because I don't want my name or brand reputation associated with "Creator Drama". I don't discuss things of this nature publicly. I first saw his content because some of my followers tagged me in his videos. At first I thought he was just another rising Gen X creator doing well on the app. He had a decent following. My first clue that things might not be quite right, was when I saw numerous comments about myself that were insinuating that I was "friends" with him. To be clear, I have never been friends with him. I understand people will name drop a larger creator in hopes it will boost their numbers. It happens all the time. That doesn't usually bother me. It becomes a problem when the person doing it, is behaving in a way I would never co-sign. That makes ME look bad by association. Because I don't speak on these types of personal issues, my followers are confused. How am I supposed to clear this up without becoming involved in the drama? I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't. I can't risk harming my reputation. I have literally made an entire and very successful career out of this. It's very important that I not get involved publicly. Before I continue, I want to make it clear that I have no issues with people monetizing on tiktok. Like I said, I've made a career doing this. I will never knock someone for trying to make a profit, as long as it's honest and they aren't scamming people. My issue with Hoss, is he's being inauthentic and using deception as a means to profit. He preaches about Gen X being a "family" and keeps repeating his main talking points over and over. He claims it's not about the money, it's about the family, the community, and even has made claims about "saving lives". He preaches about inclusion, not dividing people and "doing what's right". He talks about how he wants everyone to be successful. He's saying everything everyone wants to hear. He's acting like the moral compass of the Gen X population. The problem is, he's not telling the truth about his motives or anything else. He's being deceptive about nearly everything. Let's start with it not being "about the money". He claims to be completely disinterested in the money. If it wasn't about the money, he wouldn't use the monetization tactics with his videos. What I mean by that is, for a video to be eligible for monetization, it has to be over 1 minute or longer. Compare how he speaks live, to how he speaks in a video. If you pay attention you'll notice he slows down his speech quite a bit for his videos, and also takes dramatic long pauses in between words with a slow blackout transition. He does this because he's trying to make sure his video is long enough for monetization. He claims it's not about money or gifts, but he doesn't turn off his gifting function (yes you can do that). What he DOESN'T do is give gifts to other people, unless he needs something from them. Hoss is smart. He knows exactly what he's doing. His videos use psychology. He'll play slow, sad music in the background to play on people's sympathy. He acts like he cares about everyone because "we're family" but he doesn't care enough to actually help anyone or follow them back. That's another thing. Tiktok rules, you can only follow 10k people. Even if he wanted to follow everyone back, he can't. But the way he builds his account, is very deceptive. He will follow people. He will follow for a short period of time until he reaches the 10k maximum. Then, he will unfollow everyone and start over with another batch of people and keep repeating the cycle. When he unfollows everyone, he always has an excuse as to why. So far he's used "Tiktok reset everything" and his "device malfunctioned". It's always some error or accident beyond his control, and he's the victim. If you don’t believe me, just pay attention to the cycle. Once you know, you can't unsee it. I would suggest scrolling way back and watching his videos, but that's another problem with him. If he says anything that's contradictory to something he said before, or someone calls him out for an inconsistency or questions something, he will private those videos. He always hides evidence. If he's ever questioned about where a video went, it's always the same excuse. He will say his video was taken down because someone reported it. He's the victim again. He's one of the most dishonest people I've seen on Tiktok. That says alot. I've seen him use tragedies in the news and even veterans to pull at people's heartstrings. It works. If you read his follower's comments, it's alarming. They speak to him like he's a God, or a godfather and they're kissing the ring. Very disturbing because it's very cult like behavior. This guy wants to be worshipped, but purposely puts on an act pretending to be humble. He's not humble, he's fake. He wants to feel powerful and take credit for anything he can, except his mistakes and accountability. I've seen him start trouble with other creators who refused to "kiss the ring" or accept his authority. He utilizes his "friends" to post things about them, then sits back enjoying the chaos he created while looking innocent like he wasn't involved. I saw him say he started the Gen X movement and the usage of the red X emoji on Tiktok. I've been on Tiktok for many years, long before Hoss ever joined. When I joined years ago there was already Gen X groups formed, Gen X creators doing Gen X content. That's why I started making content, I saw other people doing it and I wanted to do it too. The Gen X community has been a thing since Tiktok started. It was mostly kids dancing, but we were here too. The red X comes from the emoji keyboard. It was originally used as an emoji for the word "Don't"❌️. People on tiktok were using it in their handles, bios, even hashtags years before Hoss was even on the app. He didn't invent, create, or start anything. He's trying to take credit for things people were doing before he even showed up. He's on a power trip. But he also has some very obvious psychological issues. My intuition told me something was off, but digging deeper confirmed it. Now, anytime someone says anything that doesn't align with him, he says they're jealous. He's projecting. He's extremely jealous. He preaches about how he wants everyone to be successful, every genxer should have at least 10k followers. People really believe he's sincere, he has them fooled. Anytime someone starts becoming successful, he feels threatened by them. He will do everything he can to discredit them. Recently I saw him try to take down a creator because the guy was running a Gen X website with a membership fee. It started becoming successful and Hoss felt threatened and competitive. He tried to make it look like the guy was scamming people for money and got his followers to cancel this guy and label him a scammer. I looked at that website. It's not a scam, they charge a membership fee for access, and are transparent about what you get. It's called business. Hoss has lots of people paying for tiktok subscriptions, and he sells merch. How is that any different? He's jealous, competitive and threatened by other people doing well. He's a friend to nobody. I've seen people just like him over the years. He's not the first and he won't be the last. I feel genuine empathy for anyone who has been a victim. Don't be embarrassed. All of us have been duped by someone at least once in our life. It's because we're trying to be good people, giving other people empathy, the benefit of the doubt, and a chance. Unfortunately people prey upon our kindness. Speak out if you're a victim, it's the only way to stop this guy from victimizing other people. People need to come forward and share their story. Good, honest people still exist. Don't let one bad apple ruin the bunch. Love & Light

BIG HOSS GENX OFFICIAL FAMILY ON TIKTOK: NO not a duplicate or copycat account, this came directly from the account with 180k+ followers. He himself has created a few of the copycat accounts to use it as a scape goat and blame those accounts when he gets caught doing things and is called out publicly. How do I know this? Because the IP address on 3 copycat accounts as well as numerous burner accounts that his wife uses and his main Account all come from the same IP address. He uses a VPN, but he fails to use it properly and I've caught him many times with it off and was able to track his IP. I didn't get "Scammed" so to speak, but I still have concerning issues. Hoss tried to talk me into sending him money to "promote" my account. At first I just humored him and played dumb, because I was curious as to what he was trying to do. Apologies to those who got scammed, no offense but I was smart enough to not send him money. He thought I was interested. After him explaining it all, I finally told him what he was doing was illegal, and against the tiktok community guidelines. He immediately blocked me. His wife began sending me threatening messages, one after another with no time in between. When I finally opened it, I had 8 messages in total. She threatened me, my adult children and grandchildren. She threatened to have people come after my elderly father who's currently fighting colon cancer. I'll never share anything personal again. Regretfully I made videos about my personal life, family and struggles. I responded but when I pressed send, I was already blocked and my response didn't go through. She then messaged me from yet a different account named Amber Eyez that had just been created. No profile picture, no followers, no bio. She said if I told anyone anything about our previous conversations that they would deny it. She said nobody would believe me because Hoss's followers are "well trained loyalists" that hang on his every word. Those are her exact words! She threatened that their group would make videos and accusations about me. She said I would have no followers left or credibility when they are done with me. She said "It would be a damn shame if we told everyone you threatened us and especially our teenage daughter, It's not a good look" because they will believe us and fight for us. She said the word cancel wouldn't even begin to explain what would happen to me. I didn't want any trouble so I promised not to discuss it with anyone. Then, a few days later she messaged me again and demanded I send money as a gesture of goodwill. I was threatened that if I didn't send money to support "The family" they would proceed with the videos and accusations. I said the agreement was they wouldn't do that if I didn't say anything. I kept my word and didn't tell anyone. She said This request was coming directly from Hoss. I had enough at that point so I blocked her. I expected something to happen, but I didn't hear anything at all, and I was relieved. They didn't come after me even though I rejected their extortion and blocked his wife. I was surprised but glad. I really wasn't going to say anything because I don't want the drama in my life, i have enough things going on. But now I have to. 3 weeks after all this happened, I saw Hoss, his wife, and some people in his group start making the exact same accusations I was threatened with, but against someone else! They went through with the threats but not for me, against some other guy! They accused him of threatening Hoss's wife and daughter. I don't know the guy but I'm betting it's BS because it was almost verbatim to the extortion threats against me. Some guy is getting slandered and dragged through the mud. Someone needs to stop these people. It's a cult! If you are the person who got slandered, or if you know the guy, please get in touch with me, I can testify if you go to court. I can be a witness, I have ALL my proof, I saved EVERYTHING. If Hoss sees this and comes after me, let this post and date be a record of what/when it happened. Please be careful everyone, these people are dangerous! GOD BLESS.

I've been ashamed to share my story because I feel naive and dumb. I am a Gen Xer. I'm 57 years old and I should be smarter than this but I fell for it. I feel foolish and embarrassed and like a schmuck. First let me say that anytime one of us comes forward HOSS and his group of fraudsters use an excuse that almost sounds legitimate but I can debunk it. When I say group of fraudsters I'm referring to his wife who has multiple burner accounts with different names that appear out of nowhere and disappear just as fast. She's used many handles with variations of the names Amber, Heather, and Valerie. There are others according to other victims I've spoken to. Usually the name will have Gen x in it, sometimes queen, sometimes wifey, and sometimes things momma. She appears to be his #1 assistant in the scam. He also has 3 male wingmen but I'm not going to list their names here because I'm not sure if they are aware of the fraud or if they're actually victims who are unknowingly helping him. I don't make accusations unless I'm sure. I was told if I were to "support the family" with a donation, they would help boost my TikTok account for me. I was skeptical at first but they explained that with so many family members they can't do it for everyone and also sending a donation would show I was serious and dedicated to growing family. At the time it made sense to me. This is so embarrassing. I sent $100. After several days I didn't see any support or communication at all from hoss or his people. I thought maybe he forgot because he's got alot of followers and he's probably very busy. I sent a DM. It showed he read it but he didn't reply. I thought ok, he read it, he's probably not responding because he's about to do something. That wasn't the case. Later that day I got a DM from his wife on one of her burner accounts. She told me to stop sending him messages (I only sent one) because he's very busy. She started going on and on about how he has a personal life outside of TikTok and I was encroaching on their family time. She said I was acting obsessed and entitled and nobody owes me anything. I tried to reply saying I sent money so they do owe me something but when I tried to send it, "account not available". She deleted the account. I thought I was blocked but I used a burner account of my own and her account no longer existed. I was pissed off. I was going to message hoss but he actually did block me. I tried to reach out through a couple of his people and they have me blocked too. They somehow coordinated all of this because it all happened within a matter of minutes. That excuse I said they use when they get called out that I mentioned earlier? Here it is. Hoss will blame anything he does that might look bad on a copycat or fake account. Yes they do exist. There are alot of those. But the account I was friends with and following was his legitimate account. His bio always lists how many followers he has to show it's the real account. At the time this happened to me he had 176.9 k followers. None of the copycat accounts have that amount of followers. Also I was smart about one thing. Anytime I am paying for something or sending money online I always screen record my transactions and conversations just in case. So I literally have screen recordings of all the DMs between us, including audio voice clips he used instead of typing it out. I have him verbally explaining how to send the money and telling me how much he appreciates me supporting the movement. So I can prove everything I'm saying. So he can't blame scamming me on a copycat account because I can prove otherwise. I thought about using that footage and making a video to expose them. I decided not to for a couple reasons. First I don't want to hurt my court case. I haven't filed yet because I don't know his real name or address to serve him with papers. I'm actually posting this here hoping someone will reply who has that information. Second reason is right now I'm only blocked but if I make a video about it he will send his followers after me and completely ruin my account that I worked very hard at growing and they would probably make propaganda videos about me to ruin my reputation. Also I'm embarrassed. I look stupid for falling for this scam. These people aren't just scammers stealing money they're also passive aggressive vicious and vengeful. So I don't want to make a video I'd rather handle this through the courts. If anyone out there has the information I need please reply. Also there's a Facebook group full of victims all you have to do is search big hoss Gen x family scam. You can contact us there too. There's also a reddit about this. I'm a 57 year old widow from Tennessee. I never thought I'd be a victim of something like this. Those people are really good actors and manipulators. They've fine tuned this scam and are good at it. If I fell for this literally anyone could. Again I'm ashamed but I will get justice. That's s fact.

This guy Big Hosson TikTok and his wife are scammers! I hate thieves and liars. They are both. I wanted to reach 10k followers on TikTok so I could monetize my videos. Bigg Hoss asked me to send money and he would advertise for me and get me followers to reach my goal. He said it will more than pay for itself because my videos will make money. I agreed and sent the funds. As soon as he received the money he blocked me and his wife sent me a nasty rude message from a burner account. I have receipts! They pretend to care about Genxers and claim we are all family but it is nothing but an act to commit fraud by profiting off people's hopes and dreams. They don't care about anyone it's solely for money. There's an entire group of us on facebook that got scammed. We're trying to find out his real name so we can sue for our money and press criminal charges for fraud!

Tiktok Creator known as Big Hoss Official GenX or @genxfamilyofficial scammed me. I asked him to share a video of mine to help me because he claims to want to help other genxers, but said he charges for promotion. If I send him $100 he would share my video, and promote me during a livestream. He guaranteed that the exposure I got would gain me at least 500 followers or more. I sent the money via PayPal, and he didn't share my video or promote me on a live. I waited 8 days, then sent him a DM asking when he'd be doing it. He blocked me! Now I'm out $100. I got scammed! PayPal can't help me because he had me send the money as "Friends and family" because he said we were considered family. I'm not the only person who got scammed, and others are too embarrassed to admit what happened. Him, his wife are running a literal racket scam targeting Gen X people.

So I have a screen shot from a live where Hoss and his wife were out on the golf cart. He was in front of a sign that said Ottway Drive. I know he says he’s from FL and the only Ottway Drive in Fl is in Beacon Square, FL. The cross street on the sign was a little fuzzy but had a four letter cross street which matches with Moog. Anyway hope this helps. If you need the picture feel free to contact me on FB.
