A woman named SARAH FREEDMAN contacted me through text and said that she had a $27 a hour job available for data entry clerk that apparently I had applied for, and she had me take a whole assessment that would determine if im eligible for the job or not and i "passed" it. So she contacted me the next day and said I had got the job and sent me a offer letter from "William Argust". I signed it thinking it was real. So Sarah had said that for me to be able to work this job I needed to obtain a software license which they would pay for. They sent me a check via EMAIL, (RED FLAG) but i didn't think anything of it. I even took the check to my bank branch to deposit it and they took it. Long story short, a couple days later my bank called me and said my account was negative and the check I deposited was counterfeit. They also told me that it was definitely a scam. I went to go chat with her through telegram, (which she told me to download to communicate with her) and she blocked me and deleted all of our messages. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!!!! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH AND LOOK BACK AT THIS POST. The company they are going by is a private held pharmaceutical company called Belrose Pharma. They even have a website and everything and they said they would send equipment.

Contacted via email by Sarah Freedman. There was a job offer letter signed by William Argst.. Sarah directed me to use the Telegram app to further communicate. Immediately, they wanted to email me a check to mobile deposit into my account. I did not do this. They said they'll direct deposit the amount next week when I give them my bank account info, which will not be happening.

Was contacted by a Sarah Freedman, thought this was real until I looked up on here and saw 2 other instances. They sent me an offer letter and then a link to sign into the employee portal

I was contacted by Sarah Freedman who claims to work for Belrose Pharma for a data entry position. There is a website, but I think the scammers have taken it over. None of the phone numbers for the company work and the company possibly closed in 2020. I received an offer letter for a job signed by someone named William Argust even though there was no interview. As part of the set up, they were going to send me a check to purchase a software license.
