Out $1499
Beachresortsinterantional.com called me shortly after I was on Costco's website looking for a vacation. The young lady, Abigail McCain told me that she was from Costco. I thought this vacation was legitimate. I purchased their vacation package and was given 17 days if I needed to cancel. The $1499.00 was posted to my card. On day 10, fraudulent charges appeared on my credit card from Mexico for meal purchases. I called my credit card company and reported the fraudulent charges. I called their company and requested a cancellation of the vacation fee due to the fact that I believed someone in their organization used my information. They became very nasty and told me that the return policy is 10 days. How convenient. I asked for a supervisor and was denied a supervisor. They laughed and told me that I can get another vacation anywhere else in the world but do not come to Mexico, but there is no vacation there and that they were not refunding the vacation fee. I called several times and was grossly mistreated, yelled at and told they will not help me.
Scam
They have called me several times to try and get me to pay via credit card for resort / cruise vacation packages. Every time the package is a different dollar amount. Ranging from $299 to $2149. Based upon whatever the caller / scammer thinks they can hook you for. Their website is a dead give away to their illigitamacy. It looks like a DIY gum stick project done with Wix.com, or the like. Funny how there is no phone or address to contact them, only a bogus email. Every time they call, a different phone number appears on my caller ID. Not a real number of course. One time I got the scammer to give me a company phone number, which was: 998 478-5120. Also not legit. However, when I Google that number it was linked to a social security administration fraud scam. The website does mention they're based in Cancoun Mexico and since every scam caller has a Mexican accent, it's probably the only true thing mentioned.Victim Location 93306
Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
They said they were contacting Costco members to offer Costco travel to select resorts for discounted prices due to lack of travel during Covid.
