The man called wanted me to go to my computer to help me fill out a form to get my refund. He says his co. is contracted by the BBB to get people their refund. Would not allow me to check his business or anything it had to right then. He said he had already sent the form to my computer and he just wanted to help me fill it out and then he said he had to connect the BBB and us at the same time. He was very forceful on getting me to go to my computer and I hung up. The number he gave me was 805-621-7111 and he said to please help him complete his job. He sounded like the same group that calls saying there from Microsoft Windows. As we all should know HP, Microsoft, and any credible co. does not call you you call them. If it sounds to good it probably is. I hope this will help others since I have checked it out it sure seems to be.

got six calls in a row from this number from a lady with a fake sounding voice that says she is from the BBB and i had several bad reports about me but they caught the criminals and they have a check for me. would not take no for an answer, every time i hung up she called right back. even after i sat the phone down by my computer speaker for her listening enjoyment she didn't quit talking.

Recorded message that was the ScamPulse.com and that my email had been compromised (which it had and working with new Go-Daddy as new service provider to fix). The recording was otherwise unidentified, and I have never gotten a recorded call like this, particularly recording stating call the ScamPulse.com representative back at phone number: 559-900-3424. Thought you should know.

Call from ScamPulse.com concerning hacking of your computer that they need to fix before something happens. Then they say are you near your computer so we can get the serial number or some other number to fix the problem

I had a message on my ans. mach. Wednesday from a man who said he was with the BBB and was needing to get some documentation from me for the US Dept. of Treasury. he said his name was JUSTIN EDWARDS and gave a telephone number of 202-391-0974

Received a call this morning from a man claiming to be from BBB. He wanted to confirm my address and number of employees. He hung up on me when I asked him his name. I called the number shown on my caller ID. There was a recorded message from a woman with a British accent stating the individual I was trying to reach was not available.

He started by telling me he was with the BBB and I was a 3rd place winner for being a good citizen & paying my bills on time.. I have won 1.5 million dollars.. 1st I needed to stop @ a local Walmart & register.. Wanted my kids names for beneficiaries in case something happened b4 I got home to collect $$.. Wanted me to send $355.00 b4 check was issued.. I refused & hung up.. They called back.. Actually 3 times.. Very concerned that I had a husband.. If I was a senior if I shared bank account with husband.. When refused to send $$ told them I knew it was a scam & im not an [censored] they decided they'd send $$ 1st then I could pay out of that.. Said it was though the BBB Wanted me to call back their number 619-434-0936 to verify.. I refused to call them said they had my number & I wasn't calling anyone to "verify" because I knew they could route me to wherever they wanted it to go.. He said he call me everyday until I got home which I told them I wouldn't be there til May 1st to be sure I was ok & would then issue the $$. The name he gave was Mark Jacobs BBB# 222264MJ & District manager name is Dark or Derk? Rogers

Company Received call stating caller was from the BBB regarding their Credit Card Machine. The caller asked for the Bank account routing info and Social Security Number to update the credit card machine. The company provided this information to the caller thinking it was the BBB. The callers names were: John and Issac (claiming to be from the BBB)

A guy named Ed Hopkins called and said he was with BBB and wanted to talk to the owner. Apparently he wants us to give our credit card number so we can stay in good standing.

David Sawyer with the BBB called and said I have been awarded by the government 2.5 Million dollars a Mercedes with free insurance for a year and a gas card for free gas from Texaco for a year. He gave me a phone number of 904-435-4838 to call him back to claim my prize after I called 929-444-7214 to verify the funds are actually in an account for me. that account information is Acct # 40569690 pin # 7821. He mentioned a Donna Dean in Colorado but I don't really know what that was all about.

I currently receive a call from the someone claiming to be from the BBB between 2 – 4 times a month asking if our office is moving.  When I ask them what it is for or tell them that we are not moving they hang up the phone on me.

I received a phone call this morning from a man named Micheal from the ScamPulse.com telling me my computer was having problems and he could help me. I kept asking him what company he was from because I didn't realize that the BBB deals with fixing computers or that their employees would call from a cell phone. Figuring it was a scam I told him if I had issues with my computer I would contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer and then said goodbye.
