Received a text message saying my checking account is temporary locked and to call the number listed. When I did, they asked for my pin number so i hanged up.

I was told about an issue with my card being locked with BankOfAmerica although I don't own a card and after a quick search I found out that the number I was told to call doesn't have any ties with Bank of America.
