Avodah Web Solutions Reports & Reviews (4)

On April 12th I submitted a complaint on Joe with Avodah Web Solutions but since this date Joe has made right with the services and I am withdrawing my complaint. I learned that Joe was in the middle of moving and relocated somewhere that had no cell service and he had to get WIFI in order to communicate with us and finish the project.

I do feel like Joe was sincerely sorry for the delay and lack of communication but after he shared with me I understood the reason and he has now gone above and beyond to make right with us on a personal level as well as the business level with the website.

I do believe he is a reputable company that just had a snag in the move of his family and business in turn causing the delay with the project he started with us.

Joe AKA Johany Roman reached out to me in regards to a search I had initiated needing a web designer.

Upon initially speaking with him he was very informative and offered me what he called a “very good reduced fee” to build the website which was $3499. He required that money to be paid next morning by Zelle. Once we paid it he then had us register with him on an app called “base camp” from there he started sending a to do list. He also requested our log in information for a current website where he proceeded to place it “under construction” and his next step was setting up a template website where he placed our logo and a photo on it stating he was beginning the build of the website. Next day he demands $3500 which was another “great discounted deal on the SEO package and needs it NOW. We rushed around and sent the money. He stated the website would be done by the end of the week. A couple days later he requests $3500 for social media and organic advertising. We told him no not until the website is complete. Now nearly 2 weeks have gone by and he’s done nothing on the website that he started. He won’t respond to texts, calls or emails. We logged into our current website and found that he has completely dismantled and deleted portions of it leaving us in more of a mess. His phone is now disconnected and his landline is a ladies voicemail which no one every answers or calls back. I emailed him demanding a call back and no response. I called the bank and reported the $7000 to them as fraud / scam and the bank is now starting an investigation but I can’t get our money back because it was sent through zelle and cash app in which he said was the best way for him to collect to make sure we are people of our word. His email is berline.roman @gmail.com and I intend on pressing charges especially due to the amount of money he has stolen from us exceeding the limits making it a serious crime. I’ve attached just a few of the complaints on this thief. Everyone who he has stolen from and lied to needs to let the people know so they don’t experience the same thing.

The most disgusting part about this man is that he portrays himself as a man of God while deceiving and stealing from innocent people through his company name of Avodah Web Solutions. Check the BBB on this dude. He’s a crooked and evil human! There’s a special place in hell for people like him.

February 27, 2022 Johany Roman reached out to me to find out about web site developing and we started chatting about options and availabilities, along with the perks of going with him after I had commented on an advertisement for web development. He had reached out twice after that and I decided to go with him since he has a website and it all seemed legit. After making payments, which he was quick to respond to, the last payment was made on April 26, 2022; whereas, his contract stated I would get immediate access to my website. After a couple of other contacts and nothing, I decided to go to CashApp, Zelle and my bank to dispute the monies since it was going on a month and I did not hear from him. I also requested for a refund where he made me aware the same day the bank got a hold of him that he does not give refunds. Calls himself a man of God, but if he was, he would really know Colossians 3:23-23. Nonetheless, I also file an incident report with my police department and they recommended Civil Court as well, which I will also follow up on. He states that he is going to give me my website within the week, but it took for the bank to state that they were taking the monies back for him to get back to me? What if he tries to sell my web address on purpose for me actually calling him out on this? Please help it doesn't happen to anyone else. I should have read his reviews, but most of them are one time reviews that were done years ago, so he could have done those himself too. He knew my circumstances and should have done better, especially as a 'christian.'

He scammed us too and took us for $7000. We need to join together to deal with this guy.
