They contacted me for an interview, at first I accepted the job offer, then later decided to decline. The man supposedly named Timothy J Rodwell panicked when this happened and said that they had already sent a check. I told him I will return the check to him, he told me I cannot return it, since it has already been processed. My next step was to deposit the check into my account, then withdraw the funds and replace into the company's account where it was drawn out from. I received a tracking number for the shipment of the check. Once arrived I took the $24,000.00 check to my bank, but before depositing it I told my banker of the situation because this seemed fraudulent. She said that it looks like a legitimate check, yet still warned me that this could be a fraud and strongly suggested against depositing it. This worried me. I messaged Timothy via google hangouts(this is how we have been communicating). I asked him for his number, he replied"But,why?". The inquisition for his number continued until I told him the check will not be deposited into my account, it will be returned in the mail. Timothy(?) replied, "If you mail it back and we are unable to find our check, you will surely know we know where you stay and who picked up our check, Good day!" I was threatened by what is supposed to be a legitimate business.
