I participated in a recent auction hosted by Auction Events which promoted their event on Instagram at the Mayfair Hotel in Miami. I strongly advise others to avoid it. Items advertised as genuine were clearly counterfeit on arrival. Descriptions and photos did not match the products; materials, markings, and quality were inconsistent with authentic goods. The auctioneer auctioned off a Messi/Ronaldo piece signed autographed and pass it on as authentic. I brought the item home realized it was a laser engraved signature. When I contacted the seller/organizers for a refund, responses were evasive and unhelpful, and refund promises were ignored.
