ArizonaCarRegistration Reports & Reviews (2)

I went online to pay my car registration. When searching for the AZ MVD website, I was directed to the arizonacarregistration.org website which looked very similar. I paid the registration and did not realize it was different until I received a service fee and the email I received from arizonacarregistration.org stated the company was not affiliated with any government agency.

I went online to pay my AZ ADOT MVD registration renewal as I have done many times. Somehow, apparently I was unknowingly redirected to the scammer's website, which looked similar to the legitimate MVD site payment page. I proceeded to pay my registration renewal. I thought all was well until I noticed an additional $29.99 was added to the original amount, on my credit card statement. After calls to MVD, my Credit Card bank, and the scammers themselves. it all became clear. They misrepresented themselves, and skimmed the money. I've filed a dispute with my credit card bank. The scammers refused to refund the money and tried to play further games. Ironically, after hearing the word "fraud", they immediately sent me an e-mail claiming they will now refund the money. That remains to be confirmed, and I am still suspicious. When I was paying the registration renewal online, they never advised me of an additional $30 "fee", or I would have stopped the transaction immediately. VERY deceptive, and dishonest.
