Received a "Economic relief for affected South Carolina families" loan offer of $35,000 with a 5.99% interest rate. When I called the number, I ended up in a fast-paced conversation which quickly moved me to a 27% interest rate and only consolidating 3 bills. And was told do not pay those accounts as the payments would be coming from Forth, INC Contact Information 1900 E Golf Rd Ste 550, Schaumburg, IL 60173-5870, (877) 800-5577. This is apparently a debt relief organization. I have always paid my bills on time and never been in collections for non-payment. Mike Todd told me do not pay those 3 bills. I was not looking for debt relief. I wanted to consolidate. Less than 12 hours after signing documents and realizing what I had been manipulated into, I sent an email indicating I wanted to cancel the entire transaction. I paid those bills anyway. Then this company, now using the name FORTH took $589.26 out of my checking account. I have contacted my bank. They are working on getting my money back but it most likely will not happen. I thought I was safe because at the time Priority Plus Financial did not have anything negative on BBB. That's because this scam uses several business names throughout their process of taking your money. After my bank showed a withdrawal from FORTH, which I didn't recognize, I looked them up on BBB. Up to this point the name of this company wasn't mentioned. When you read the ScamPulse.com complaints, their response is anything but what you want to hear. This is a scam using many names to fool honest people. DON'T FALL FOR IT!
