Someone from this company came to our carport door and spoke to my husband. The person offered to pave our driveway for $150.00. I knew this was a scam. My husband has early stage Alzheimer's and is not competent to enter into any contract. This was around 1:00 pm today, January 2, 2025. I contacted my attorney who advised me that when they returned, I should tell them that they were trespassing and to leave or I would call the sheriff. They returned around 4:00 pm today. I asked them to leave, but the man kept pointing to the house and saying "he said." I told him that I did not care what "he said" that he is not competent to enter into a contract and that if he did not leave immediately, I would call the sheriff. The man I spoke to did not like it, but left. I knew that this was a scam for two reasons, one no reputable company would go door to door, and two the scam has been tried on me before several years ago.
