I was contacted by phone by a "recruiter" who identified herself as Elena. She claimed she found my resume on Indeed and that they were doing preliminary interviews for the Remote Account Manager role. Elena explained that the hiring team would discuss requiring me to get a professional license for selling insurance. She stated it would cost around $440, but that the company would reimburse about $200. That the license would be mine to keep, like a university degree. The interview would have much more details which would be provided after I reviewed her email. While on the phone Elena asked me to accept the calend.ly invite and confirm with her the time I chose. When double checking Indeed, I never applied to AO Global on Indeed. This person/company had my information as they knew my previous employment history.
