I got a quote from Dan for a move from Brooklyn to Rochester for $750. They wanted a $350 deposit which I felt was fair. When the Movers showed up they showed me a bill of lading with other charges that I would have to incur. I asked the guy what the total amount would be and he said he couldn't tell me until the move was completed. Because I needed to be in Rochester at a certain date I needed to go through with the move. When it was all said and done it wound up costing me $2785. He didn't even deduct my deposit so I did. I gave him $2435 and he didn't even argue. DO NOT under any circumstances use these guys.

I would like to share my experience with Anythings Movers from New York. It all started when I received a call from a representative named Dan. He was very persuasive and friendly, quickly gaining my trust and assuring me of their high-quality services. He provided me with a quote of $350 for moving our two-bedroom apartment. At first glance, everything seemed fine.

Dan also sent me an email confirming the quote and details of the move. Feeling confident in their professionalism, I agreed to proceed.

When the movers arrived, we signed a contract. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that it stated each additional hour would cost $155. We began the move, and everything was going smoothly until they started adding numerous extra services, which I had not been informed about beforehand.

The movers insisted on packing some items, which added an extra $200. Then, they charged $100 for using the stairs and $50 for each floor. They also added $75 for each piece of furniture that needed disassembly and reassembly, even though I hadn't requested these services.

Additionally, we were moving 150 miles upstate, for which they charged an extra $800, citing increased fuel costs and additional working hours. By the end of the move, the total amount came to $2500.

I was shocked and tried to dispute these charges, but the movers insisted that everything was in the contract I had signed. To make matters worse, Dan insulted and blamed me for the situation, making me feel responsible for not noticing the hidden fees. This was my first and last experience with Anythings Movers. Be cautious and make sure to read all documents carefully before signing.

I want to share my terrible experience with AnythingsMovers. Initially, they quoted me a price of $150 for two hours of work after I explained everything that needed to be moved from my studio apartment. I had a few boxes, a TV, and a treadmill. Some Russian guy came to my place, looked around, and gave me a new quote of $900.

This is a scam. I called the office and spoke to Dan, who had originally agreed to do it for $150. I was very upset because I ended up paying $900 instead of the promised $150, losing $750.

They did a horrible job: they disassembled my TV and couldn’t put it back together. This incompetent Russian guy removed all the major cords from my TV and treadmill and left them at the old place without telling me. Now I have no cords for my electronics.

When I called to inquire about the cords, they were very rude and hung up on me after telling me the cords were at the old house. Stay away from this company. I want a full refund.
