This scammer was able to get through to me from a third party job listing indeed.com. When they got my contact info (same info on my resume) they immediately offered me a position as Persomal Assistant working from home. Intially I went with the offer, because it was something different I’ve never experienced. Working from home; never done that before so I took it. While going through the process I began to notice red flags. I look up the person name that I was emailing back and forth, to my surprise this person is an actual company. The other red flag was how they stated in the email we will send you your first check for the week followed by instruction on the task at hand that needs to be completed. Getting sent a check before completing my duties was another red flag for me. When the check arrived in the mail, I knew the enemy tried it. First, the envelope (priority mail) the check was in, came from Florida. Secondly, the check itself was from Kansas from a company called Rise Vision Inc. (different company) To God be the Glory!! I knew it was a haux. I never cashed nor deposited the check in my account.
