I went online to dvs.mn.gov to renew tabs for my car. Their screen popped up along with a picture of MN seal and requested license number. I know from previous online purchases at DVS, license # is required. I got all the way to entering my CC number but couldn’t remember my Expiration date so I thought I had backed out. I got a confirmation notice of my purchase a short time later. I called and asked for the charges to be deleted but she told me it said on the website charge was non-refundable. I did get a cancellation notice per my request. The charge has not hit my bank account as of yet.

I am pretty savvy about doing business online but this really snuck up on me and took me by surprise. When I realized it I went back online and found the real MN DVS online site and renewed my tabs.

I do have the payment receipt and the cancellation confirmation if needed.

A charge appeared on my account for AMVSonline, for $10.95/mo. I never signed up for this, nor did they make it easy to access an account to see what services were used. I have contacted my bank.

No information on site at all after payment! It’s fake. Don’t care about the $. Just care about my identity
