Amusement Associates contracted with Chief Sarcoxie Days committee/festival to provide a carnival for our fair in September 2026. Arthur McCarthy cashed our deposit check in November of 2025 for $4,000.00. In December we tried to contact Arthur and our mail was returned. He notified us in July 2026 via email that he was not coming and did not return our deposit after the request was made for a refund via email. He scammed 7 other festivals in Missouri.
