An individual by the name of Oliver Morich contacted me about a job offering at Amprion GmbH. Amprion GmbH is a valid organization that is based out of Germany. I was told that Amprion will be opening its doors to the Texas electrical grid and needed to fill positions in an office that would be opening soon.
After contact with this individual on the Telegram app, I was put through an extensive questionnaire interview for a data entry work-at-home position and followed with a successful completion that led to ongoing emails from Oliver Morich. The emails were sent with documentation to be filled such as job offer acceptance letter, W4 form, and I9 from. after completion, You are told that a check will be sent to you for your materials required for the job/training. Until then, You are asked by the "supervisors" to conduct daily reports on economical and management topics on a daily basis and keep in touch at 8 am my local time.
Once the check of close to $5,000 is in your possession, Oliver asks that you deposit it into your account and then immediately send it to their "reputable" vendor through Apple Pay or Google Pay. This has been going on since Friday, May 28th, 2021. Now that the check and money transactions are complete, there has been no more contact from this Oliver Morich after suspicion.
Even though Amprion GmbH is a reputable organization, I believe that they are the current target of recent work-at-home scams. As well as the individual named Oliver Morich. I believe that his identity is being used in this recent scam to entice individuals into a "too good to be true work-at-home position."

An email claimed that they found my resume on a recruiting website, and that they wanted to interview me for a job. Then the interview was done only over a messaging app called Telegram. The scammer used the profile of Oliver Morich, and puported to be a recruiter for Amprion.net a german multi-national company. The "recruiter" steps you through an actual interview. then says that you passed and are hired. He then claims that you now have a remote work job for data entry, and that he will be sending you a check to procure the supplies to do the job. So they ups you a $5000 check, and ask you to quickly deposit it. Then they keep asking if the money is available yet. My bank but a 10 day hold on the money (as they expect). So then they ask you to purchase some software in the meantime for $600, if you can cover the costs out of pocket. I am assuming the next step would be to have the check bounce after they have gotten you to spend stuff on some schetchy website. Once I told him in Telegram that he was trying to scam me, he never replied to my comments again. I have contacted Amprion in Germany and notified them that they were being used in this scam.
