Type of a scam Online Purchase

Just like other complaints, I attempted to purchase ammo (M2 ball for M1 Garand) through ammunitionstoreonline.com. The first red flag should have been the price of the ammo I was wanting to purchase, it was half the price of all of my typical sites I purchase ammo from. The next should have been at checkout, I was going to use PayPal but it didn't ask me to do the usual process when checking out. Today 10/19/24 I received a text from 1-408-634-3410 asking if I wanted to proceed with my order and shipping. I didn't answer right away then received two more texts "hello", "are you there" (third red flag) being pushy. I said yes to proceed, then was sent an email address "[email protected]" Name; Tran Truong (the largest of all red flags) send you PayPal payment to this our cashier email address above and remember we accept payment only via Family and Friends and when done let us know so we can immediately proceed with your package delivery. I said to cancel my order (not thinking about it being a fake order anyway). The a few more texts came in trying to get me to use their website messenger. I declined. I tried calling the phone number of the website and it wouldn't go through. looked up the area code (916), it came up as California. The address on the website currently shows Boulder Colorado. I also looked for other reviews online and found mutiple unhaveable reviews. Sorry for being so long winded, but I want to provide as many details as I could. Ultimately, I was not out of any money. Beware of this site
