Ryan Nelson, owner/operator of American Patriot Construction, LLC provided a bid for converting a carport to garage on 12/17/2025. The quote was $23,000. Ryan asked for 60% for building materials. Ryan has no employees and provides remodel services on his own. Ryan accepted our check for $13,900 as a deposit. Approximately $500 of lumber was delivered to our home and Ryan arrived at our home 12/19/2025 and worked for approximately 3 hours. Ryan removed our shed at the back of the carport. That was the last time Ryan performed any work. There were few text communications, all initiated by me or my wife over the months. Ryan Nelson/American Patriot Construction is unavailable, has changed phone number and has moved from listed address. The date of this review/complaint is 6/8/2026. I absolutely want the public to know this information before choosing Ryan Nelson/American Patriot Construction before hiring.
