Got an invoice for 10 cases of Toilet Paper @ 99.50 per case. We did not order, don't know this supplier, and would never buy TP from DC and have it shipped all the way to CA! This stuff must be spun gold, because it is way beyond normal price for toilet paper from our contracted supplier. (this is the first indication that it is a scam- price is way too high.) Of course it does not have a PO number or name of a person who ordered. (second scam flag) Thankfully this bogus company did not actually ship the paper (as some scams do, then it becomes more difficult as you must return it.) I researched the company on Better Business Bureau, found other like complaints- trashed the invoice.

lessons learned= always use a PO to order anything; have your receiving dept come to your buyers immediately if they get something without a PO, and finally- buyers or managers must immediately research to determine if it is a scam or just a vendor error that can be corrected.

Received an invoice for toilet paper. At the bottom it does state that the product will be delivered within two weeks if we accept the offer.
