How can you get free money if you have to pay something in order to get it? This thing is a scam to high heavens and I looked at the check which was phony as hell. Do you think anyone with half a brain would give you free money without asking you questions first? Of course not! This is a scam and I thank God that I did not fall for it all!

I received a mailing from American Grant Network. I think it is a scam. Their address is P.O. Box 3211 New York NY 10008. I don't see a phone number. Enclosed in the mailing was a check for $1000. I feel this is fake check. They want to get my attention so I don't throw it away. They request $55 for a directory that gives information on obtaining grants.
