Based on Erick, Ok. I sent this lady half of the money for the pup, and agree to pay for the rest, upon receiving the pup. She then put me in touch with these people (amcourex), so they would be the ones transporting the puppy to me, in CA. From the beginning I could sense that these would not go well. Right away they said they needed $500 for the rental of a special crate, that it was necessary for the pup to ride comfortably, without any issues. I thought this was an outrageous price, but excited as I was for getting this dog, I send them the money.
Of course they said this money was refundable, as soon as I got the pup.
At this point I didn't care that this venture, was costing me more than anticipated. But, it didn't end there. Later they contacted me again, to let me know they encounter yet another problem. This time they needed another $800, because the pup needed insurance to travel, and that's how much it cost. Once again, this money will be refunded to me, when I get the puppy. I guessed it took me that long to finally open my eyes, and realized that, I was being scammed big time. After I refused to send them more money, they are not responding to my emails, texts, or calls.
I been pleading with the lady from the "rescue group" , to at least give me part of my money, but she's also ignoring me. She pretends like she doesn't know who I am, and what am I talking about.
Apparently this organization Amcourex, really exists but it has a shady reputation. I wish I would have done my research on these people, before I started to give my money away. These has been a really tough lesson to me. $1000 in the whole, and no dog, My only hope at this point is, that these people pay somehow. I'm sure I am not the only victim. Adopt & Save A Yorkie scam
His name is Loew, he’s 13 weeks old. I paid $350 for him $150 for a holding fee. Okay so I got an email from Amcourex with tracking information for a flight. I even had a tracking number. Everything looked legit. Then they told me I needed to pay $499 for a crate, a crate for a baby yorkie. My thing is you’d have a crate already because how did they yorkie get there? So I paid $499 for it. Then they asked me to pay $357 for shots that I didn’t approve of, you’re a delivery company. How are you giving a pet shots? So they aren’t really responding right now I called their Google phone number 424-313-0572 and they refuse to answer. It’s not even a real phone number. I’ll make another update if needed but please don’t buy from them
They sent me a picture with a back story about them. They were supposedly involved in a house fire and family had to give them up because all was lost. I asked how much and they sid $300 each and if I wanted them I could pay half up front. I originally told them I ws going to drive to get them. I changed my mind and decided they could deliver them to me. They said they worked with a charter company and would need payment upfront for the flight. During this process mysister decide she wanted a yorkie too, so between the 2 of us, we paid $1383.50 up front for flight and 1/2 deposit for dogs. The next morning I got an email from the adoption place and they sid they were taking the dogs to carrier company. I received a notice from the carrier that they were transferring dogs and wanted to make sure thay had correct address. This was at 9:30am on 10/22/24. I followed up with yes, this is my address. About 11am, I received a notice from the carrier company that I would need to buy or rent one of their air conditioned crates for the flight. Cost to rent was $899.00 and they stated I would get 98% of that cost back upon delivery. I could not send them anymore money because Zelle has a limit for 24 hours. I waited until 24 hours was up and sent them the $899.00. When trying to sent the money to the cargo company Amcourex, Zelle would not send stating it was for my protection. I emailed the cargp company and rescue and said I was cancelling the transaction, but would drive to Jackson TN to pick up the dogs. The Rescue person said to call him. He told me he had paid for one crate already and was going to lose money. I asked why 3 dogs weighing a total of less than 9 pouns needed 2 crates. Of course, the whole time I am thinking of these babies being in a crate all day and scared. I told him I thought the cargo company was a scam and of course he did all he could to convince me everything was legit. Since Zelle would not send money to the cargo company Amcourex, he told me to send it to him and he would send it on. So sucker that I am, I did that. All that took place around 8pm on the 23rd, and he told me I would have the puppies by noon today, the 24th. I emailed both the rescue and Amcourex this morning to ask abou the dogs. I then get another notice from Amcourex that now I need to pay $699.00 for insurance for the dogs, but will of course get 98% back. I emailed Amcourex and said send the dogs back to the rescue. I emailed the rescue and told them I was driving to Jackson TN tomorrow the 5th to get them. Of course, by now I know there are no dogs, but wanted to see if I get any response from them.
