I was sent an email that showed a purchase from Amazon in my daughters name. The amount was $4,000 and showed a picture of a printer and another item used for computers. I called the number in the email and was transfered to a person that was supposed to be a Senior security person. He told me my email and amazon account had been compromised. He then told me I had to go to the nearest amazon store and purchase a $100 security card to block the hackers. His accent went from indian to Australian. I told him I had to call him back and hung up. I blocked his number as well.

TRHE SCAMMER CLAIMED TO BE AMAZON CUSTOMER CARE CALLING ME BECAUSE MY ACCOUNT WAS COMPROMISED HE SAYS. HE SAID A PURCHASE OF 1860.00 WAS ORDER FOR APPLE T.V. 8 AM THIS MORNING. HIS CALLER I.D. WAS MCCOOK &

AN WHEN PHONE DIED HE CALLED BACK ON TOOELE UT. HE KNEW SPELLING OF MY NAME AND ADDRESS BUT HE WANTED

MY CREDIT CARD OR BANKING INFORMATION THAT IS SAVED WITH AMAZON. I TOLD HIM I DID NOT HAVE THAT INFORMATION. HE BECAME FRUSTRATED AND GOT RUDE SAYING HE WAS HELPING ME. AND SAID THAT I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THAT BILL. I TOLD HIM I COULD NOT GIVE HIM ANY INFORMATION ABOUT CREDIT OR BANKING BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE THAT INFORMATION. HE GOT REALLY MAD AND CURSED AND THEN HUNG UP.

the caller keep calling telling me that I have a charge on my amazon credit card; witch I know I did not make and they are asking for personal information I did not speak I just listened then I hung up.

Receiving daily scam calls telling me that there is a disputed amount on my Amazon account. It's a different phone no. each time so difficult to block.
