Type of a scam Online Purchase

I stumbled across this video last Tuesday, however the amount they tried to pitch was $17.00. I was surprised when the first thing the young lady said that I was “Approved” after inputting my name and email address (I did not enter any financial information) without knowing anything about me or my qualifications. Two minutes or so into the video, she presents the same rags-to-riches story about being in financial hard times and rising up from the ashes. Then, when she stated what I supposedly could be making with the company and having to pay a fee, I figured it was a scam. What company is ever going to pay anyone $20 -65 an hour for data entry work? Nearly 99.9% of those jobs are mostly scams and the ones that are legitimate are generally low paying-high stress jobs. Something else that occurred to me after is her saying if I closed the browser window, I would loose my “approval spot” which is nothing more than a FOMO tactic, Morale of the story: “If something sounds too good to be true, it most likely is”.
