We found this company online and they told us that they provide a mobile truck service for tire repair. We called the phone number listed and someone named Tim answered. He offered a tire repair at half the price we had been quoted at Love's, and this seemed like a great deal. He requested the payment as com check before providing the service, because it was the "company policy." Since we found no seemingly suspicious activity on the website, we issued the check. After the check was sent, he told us that the tire repair would be there within half an hour. 4 hours passed, and no one came. They had planned to cash the check while we were waiting for them. Finally, someone was sent and once the tire was repaired, the man told me I would have to pay another $1,400, when another company had quoted us at only $1,000 total. I kept getting calls from restricted numbers saying I had to pay the fee. When I told the man I would call the cop for a scam, he called them first. We then refused the service and he removed the tires, but we were still charged $660 that was cashed from our account. When we asked the man for Tim's number, he refused to give any numbers. Tim did not answer his phone again.
