On 6/8/2026 I was in Virginia tending to my sister who was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer for the previous week. I went via American Airlines website to check in for my flight on June 9th. It was a fully paid for round trip ticket..confirmation code CYANQE trip name PVD/IAD…..This woman called me to tell me I had no return confirmed ticket home for 6/9. I was physically and emotionally exhausted as I had dealt with my poor sister’s diagnosis. Her name is Daisy Johnson and told me she was the ticketing supervisor at American Airlines as I told to to escalate the call. I gave her my seat number and all reservation information. She said the fare went up $300.25 and would not issue a boarding pass unless I paid it.I HAD to get home so I paid it. I called American Express fraud department and was told I took the flight home and there was nothing they could do.
