Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

THIS IS A SCAM, BEWARE!!

Please do not give out money to these people if they send you a bill. I received a text message telling me my pediatrician had ordered pathology testing and that I owed $143, then it urged me to pay my bill online, they gave me a fake phone number and they spelled some words incorrectly in their text. Yeah right, I knew INSTANTLY this was bull! I filled police report and I'm reporting them to ICE. Please be careful and if you receive any texts, calls or mail from these people, DO NOT REPLY and go to the police!

Double Billing

I received a bill from affiliated pathologist central coast for a OB/GYN biopsy that was done by my doctor and sent to Westpac labs. Westpac labs has already billed me for the services and I had paid the balance on my bill. Per my doctor and Westpac labs neither of them ever sent any authorization to affiliated pathologist central coast for any work. Now they’re charging me $194.55 for the same test I already paid for through Westpac labs. I have filed a grievance with my insurance company over this bill.

Type of a scam Debt Collections

Hello,

"Affiliated Pathologists Central Coast" sent me an invoice by postal mail to my home address. They referenced lab work done that cost $74. They referenced an incorrect doctor's name on the first invoice, and did not include a doctor's name on the 2nd invoice.

My doctor's office has NO RECORD of using them for testing and mentioned that there are no outstanding invoices that I have with them.

They are not a lab based in San Diego (I could find no record of them).

Their company phone # is not being answered. I'd like to file for an investigation.
