Advent Global Solutions Reports & Reviews (2)

This company keeps sending me emails on a fake UPS job in my area. The wording of the emails are horrible and every time I block a sender from this company, another one comes through. Do not send any personal information to this company as I have researched the reviews and most say the same thing. I was offered 14.44 for a full time job at UPS that was supposed to last 3 months. Funny thing is, I receive one of these emails every 3 months!

I was contacted via email by Paige and Tim (no last name provided) indicating they were recruiters at Advent Global Solutions, Inc. The email said they obtained my information off of Career Builder. They indicated they had excellent job opportunity with one of their clients (UPS) and they wanted to discuss the details with me. In their initial emails they indicated my local UPS location, duration of employment, job description, work hours, and rate of pay. They also included in the body of the email a notice indicating if I wanted to verify legitimacy I could go to https://www.jobs-ups.com/faq. At the bottom of the email the recruiter indicated the client will conduct a background check/drug screen. When I contacted the recruiters vis telephone I could barely hear either recruiter. Additionally, they both answered the phone by saying "hello". They did not answer by stating their name...there was no background office noise...and they spoke in a manner consistent with personal calls rather than business. During the phone conversation they asked typical employment questions, however, I received approximately 7 additional calls within 60 minutes. Paige could not answer simple questions about interview process or other employment questions I had for her. Paige indicated she would forward my information to the next person in the "onboarding " process. The next person was Irfan Sayed ([email protected]/401-381-1346) portraying himself as the person responsible to submit background consent form. Irfan's email came from RightSignature.com/[email protected]. The body of Irfan's email indicated Background Consent Form, (ups_-_background_consent_form.pdf), Reference #: fa8ccf49-bc8d-4cda-9e4e-90b267fdc218, Signers (ck mark) Irfan Sayed and my name, Status: Pending, Expires: 11/01/2017 08:05, Sender:Irfan Sayed. As I opened the email and attached consent form Irfan could see what I was doing in real time. At this time I halted the process. I googled Advent Global Solutions Corporate Headquarters and compared the company name and address to the ones listed in my email. Everything matched. I decided to call the company at 281-970-3000 to do one final verification. I was unable to speak directly to anyone , however, I left a voice message. I also contacted them via the email address that they provided ([email protected]). I then went back and googled to determine if any irregularities were listed for this company. I discovered there were previous issues. I immediately stopped filing out the consent form and sent an email to Paige and Irfans indicating I was informed by ScamPulse.com to cease contact with their company and advising them that I don't want to receive any further contact from them. That was 48 hours ago. I have received no further calls, emails or contact from anyone associated with Advent Global.
