Today I received a phone call that appeared on my call ID as 800-690-4316 ADT Security. When I answered the phone the caller hung up. About a minute later there was another call which had the same number and heading as the first. This time, when I answered the phone, a woman came on and said this was not an emergency call, ADT just wanted to confirm the name and phone number. She gave me my name and phone number and asked if that was correct. I said yes and she immediately hung up the phone. I thought it was suspicious so I looked up the number on the internet. There I found many complaints. I called ADT and they advised me that they did not call. they said they would record the information in their system. I also called the Robbinsville Police Department to report it and was advised they cannot do anything.
