Type of a scam: Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

This company calling themselves Enrich Marketing sent us two invoices in April and May of 2022 for $789.95 as well as a W-9 with the name on it of Michael Patterson and he provided a Tax ID number of 83-1702603. The invoices stated they were for "Advertisement Space of the Calendar/Mag for Lebanon County-2022." No one in our company secured this advertising or hired this company's services. There was no account number included on the invoice. The company did not provide a phone number on the invoice, or a street address, only a PO Box. The email address provided was a generic Yahoo address. We did a search online for this person's name and company and found someone else had reported an invoice scam from this same company and man's name on a website called scampulse.com. We also found a company by this name in Arlington TX (which is the zip code on the invoice) and when we called the phone number (817) 761-0441 there is an unusual recorded message from a woman about marketing services and coaching but you cannot leave a message. The website shown online for the company is just a telegram message page. we did not pay the invoice or try to contact the company other than calling the number once.
