The guys name is John. He came and shovelled snow only once. He collected half the money and after that he did not come again to shovel the snow. I called him many times but his voice message machine was always full. And he never picked up the call.

Mr. John McCart offered services to shovel and salt our driveway and sidewalk in the event of 3.5 cm of snow falling. We signed a legal contract, met in person, shook hands and exchanged payment. He was never seen again. His website doesn't exist. His address is fake. He doesn't respond to his emails, he refuses to take any calls and his message box on his phone is full.

After discussing this with others, it appears that I am not the only one he scammed. He also scammed an Ill pensioner with very limited mobility!

Entered into a contract to have my driveway shovelled for the season, guy came twice and has now disappeared. Website and email have been taken down and his phone # says his voicemail is full. No answer to texts either. Went back online to try and find another way to contact him and saw several people have been scammed by him too. I'm out $500.
