The scammer contacted my 77-year-old aunt by cell phone on two different occasions by two different numbers. She blocked the first number, and he tried to contact her the second time on 919-375-6197. The caller identified himself as a private investigator saying she was subpoenaed and needed to report to Greensboro for a gag order. After she told him that she could not come to Greensboro, he told her that if she could get someone to bring her and both of the parties paid him $1000 a piece, he would let her off. That is when she hung up and called her local police department and then me.
