I got a letter saying final notice, with a check attached for $199.00 with the words Allocated Waiver written on it, it also has a property code that is **********, it seems they think i own the house where i live, but i dont, im renting from family, im worried thier going to try and take this house, my name is not on it and i will never deposit this check, ever, but i will hold on to this for a while if you want to see it let me know. The letter says hours of opperation are monday thru friday 9am to 6pm CST, NO Saturdays, hope this helps to stop them. Oh and the check is in my name with my address on it too. There is no address for them on the letter, just the phone number.

Notification arrived by mail with the exact text as given in the description above. A check was attached that designates "Allocated Waiver" in the amount of $199.00. Looks like they need more information than just my name and address, hence the 888-751-7775. If you search for the phone number and scroll down through several hits, an Intelius site lists Lawrence Mathew Watkins as the holder of this phone number.

This was a co trying to sell me a home warranty after i previously told them to take me out of their system. I was mad about them resending me ltrs to my home address and requested them again to stop. 1st guy Michael Morgan finally hung up on me. I cld right back got Evan he also hung up on me. I cld back again got Scott & asked to speak to his supervisor. He put me on hold for about 3 min then he hung up on me. There was no company name of business on the paperwork they sent me. Only the telephone number for me to call. This is no way to run a business. They wanted $299 up front and then for me to pay $2??.?? Each mo thereafter. They listed my property address and mortgage co on the paperwork.

From private lender property code8279387667. Said property secured by my current lender which is a private lender. All of which is false I have no lender. The property was owned by me. I gave it to my daughter years ago. Never been any loans. Attached is a Allocated waiver for $199.

Received some sort of allocated “waiver” for 199$ looked like a check. Used lots of final notice/ATTENTION/ call IMMEDIATELY language but no identification of company or real details of what it was. I just tossed in garbage.

My mother who resides in Indiana received a letter from an unknown source claiming she owed money to a private mortgage lender. Her house is paid off. They were demanding $199 in payment I instructed her to not call the number in response to the letter.

It looked real it had the watermakings and microprinting and the works.

It had a property code with the 1888 number to call.

No name, return address, or email.

We received a "Final Notice" from, what appeared to be, our lender, Newrez. It included a property code, our name, and our address. It is an allocated check for $199 with no signature. When I looked up the number provided, it is a number for Great Black Speakers and The Souls of Black Girls.

It is a legit scam to send unsolicitated mail without any senders information, with misleading laguage.
