I recivied a letter in the mail it has a check form that says registration fee voucher on it in the amount of $199.00. Letter states I need to respond immediately. It says it is a final notice to inform me that my vehicle coverage on my 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport may be expiring or may have already expired. That their recorda indicate I have not contacted them yet to get my coverage up to date. With out vehicle protection plan in place i am at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs

Received a letter at the Airbnb Ive been staying at for 3 weeks

Immediate Response Requested

Personal vehicle information

personal address and name info

get your coverage up-to-date

an envelope that resembles a government personal property tax envelope

I called the number. The letter saying I was gonna get a $200 registration fee voucher. The agent telling me all about how good it is to have a coverage, and a $350 down-payment plus $250 a month, I told him "I'll let my husband call you back and he'll decide what he wants to do", he said "no, you can't talk to anyone, you have to pay a down-payment which is "refundable", because we spoke prices and now you have to pay because its the law, because I'm in charge of your warranty coverage and can revoke it right now, so you pay now or I'm revoking your warranty. So I thought it's sounds almost illegal to not to talk to anyone before paying. I honestly had no idea what he wants exactly and what's his deal calling me a jerk after I said I won't pay. And im 34. Imagine, there are lots of elderly widows, woman who wouldn't have anyone to ask about it, Imagine all them being scammed out of $500 if not more.

Received a letter in the mail of a “Final Notice,” the the vehicle coverage may be expiring or may have already expired. The letter continues to state that I am at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs. They aggressively push for you to contact them before it’s too late. They also state no inspection will be required. They state that they reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage.

There is no real business name identified on the letter. The letter came with a generic “Registration Fee Voucher” of $199 with no business information on the voucher. This vehicle was purchased 3 weeks ago and is financed through a bank. The vehicle is still under manufacture warranty as it has very low mileage and is just a few years old.

Sent a letter saying I need to contact them as my vehicle coverage was expired. There was no indication on the company or location only the threat and number to call.

- Clayton, NC, USA

The letter was vaguely threatening about "final notice" "respond before date expired" " we reserve the right to revoke your eligibility" I found from the phone number it was from Vehicle Service Division/ I had received numerous such threatening notices several times a year and complained every time with no results. Somebody should finally sue the outfit for harassment

Received two notices in the mail on the same day, dated differently. They both had my current vehicle listed as not having my “coverage activated” and “expiring soon or is already expired.” They sent a “check” for $199.00 with no signature and titled it “Registration Fee Voucher.” They’re very aggressive and the only way to contact them is by phone number. It says, “Please call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU: 1-888-413-6075” and lists a record ID on one and coverage ID on the other - which are not consistent with one another and has two different phone numbers as well (the other is 1-888-582-6870). Multiple times they say I’ll “be at risk for being financially liable for any and all repairs” without a protection plan in place and after my coverage expires. Also, it states to call to verify the above information, referring to the record ID and my personal information.

unsolicited letter with misleading "final notice" to extend "vehicle coverage" on my car. Say to call their phone number (only identifier)

- Kinston, NC, USA

"I have received a letter for the fourth time in the last year requesting my VIN and mileage information. The letter lists my customer ID as A026FFO6186 every time."

- Lake Worth, FL, USA

A piece of mail came in a Window envelope, which looked like a check. Upon opening the check was actually not a check, instead it says registration fee voucher with the amount of $199 but it looks just like a check with a memo line ,signature line, paid the order of section, all of it. Then below the perforation of the check says final notice immediate response requested and the letter goes on to say “this letter is to inform you that your vehicle coverage for your 2019 BMW X1 may be expiring or may have already expired. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us yet to get the coverage up-to-date. Without a vehicle protection plan, you are at risk for being financially liable for any and all repairs. However, you still may have time to activate coverage on your vehicle before it’s too late. No inspection will be required and final acceptance is subject to your availability to meet eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after five days please call immediately. This is our final attempt to notify you at 1-888-413-6075.”

This company calls me everyday from different number and have sent me 4 letters tell me that my factory warranty is expired or will expire and I need to reach out to them and pay for extended warranty. I have asked multiple time to be taking off their list and stop contacting me. I am tired of being harassed. This has been going on for two months. I attached the latest letter. Can someone please help me.

I received a notice from the address "VEHICLE SERVICES DIVISION", IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED.

The notice looked like it was from the Arkansas Vehicle Services Division giving me the impression that I was driving without insurance.

They had the correct information on my Ford Explorer. The letter looked legitimate.

I called and a man answered and immediately started talking about an extended warranty on my vehicle.

Sent a voucher to get personal information and contacts on a car services covered in a brand new car

I received numerous correspondences that my warranty or vehicle coverage will expire unless I sent these turds 199.00. Never tried calling the number because they aren't as savvy to find out that I already posses a 5 year warranty that is still in effect, so my scamdar alerted me quickly.
Scam warranty/coverage expiring soon letter. Jokes on them. I have a 5 year warranty

Not sure how legal and ethical this company is but all they are trying to do is sell an extended warranty. Stop getting bent out of shape and move on with your life .

The letter asks me to call with VIN and mileage before august 4, 2023. They claim their records indicate that my 2020 Dodge Journey’s warranty is about to expire… I HAVE NEVER OWNED A 2020 Dodge Journey… the letter tells me to call their number and provide them info. The letter is from a “Mark Smith, Program Coordinator”
