"I have received a letter for the fourth time in the last year requesting my VIN and mileage information. The letter lists my customer ID as A026FFO6186 every time."

- Lake Worth, FL, USA

A piece of mail came in a Window envelope, which looked like a check. Upon opening the check was actually not a check, instead it says registration fee voucher with the amount of $199 but it looks just like a check with a memo line ,signature line, paid the order of section, all of it. Then below the perforation of the check says final notice immediate response requested and the letter goes on to say “this letter is to inform you that your vehicle coverage for your 2019 BMW X1 may be expiring or may have already expired. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us yet to get the coverage up-to-date. Without a vehicle protection plan, you are at risk for being financially liable for any and all repairs. However, you still may have time to activate coverage on your vehicle before it’s too late. No inspection will be required and final acceptance is subject to your availability to meet eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after five days please call immediately. This is our final attempt to notify you at 1-888-413-6075.”

This company calls me everyday from different number and have sent me 4 letters tell me that my factory warranty is expired or will expire and I need to reach out to them and pay for extended warranty. I have asked multiple time to be taking off their list and stop contacting me. I am tired of being harassed. This has been going on for two months. I attached the latest letter. Can someone please help me.

I received a notice from the address "VEHICLE SERVICES DIVISION", IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED.

The notice looked like it was from the Arkansas Vehicle Services Division giving me the impression that I was driving without insurance.

They had the correct information on my Ford Explorer. The letter looked legitimate.

I called and a man answered and immediately started talking about an extended warranty on my vehicle.

Sent a voucher to get personal information and contacts on a car services covered in a brand new car

I received numerous correspondences that my warranty or vehicle coverage will expire unless I sent these turds 199.00. Never tried calling the number because they aren't as savvy to find out that I already posses a 5 year warranty that is still in effect, so my scamdar alerted me quickly.
Scam warranty/coverage expiring soon letter. Jokes on them. I have a 5 year warranty

Not sure how legal and ethical this company is but all they are trying to do is sell an extended warranty. Stop getting bent out of shape and move on with your life .

I called the number they gave explained that I do not own the vehicle and when I was asking how they have received all my info. And if someone had actually made a purchase for that vehicle John hung up on me. I called back some lady answered claiming to be in the legal department said it's only an offer letter I said no it says I have until the 14th to make a payment to keep the previous registration for that vehicle. I said I would be reporting them and she laughed.

My elderly parents continously receive these vehicle notices in the mail with what appears to be a check with their names for $199.00. I finally decided to call the number on the attached paper (888)413-6075. When someone came to the phone and identified themselves as Vehicle Services Division, I began to tell the man about my parents receiving these checks and notice and would like to have them removed from their mailing list. The person on the other line quickly hung up on me.

I received a notice regarding “my” 2017 Toyota 4Runner which I’ve never owned before. When I asked the representative how are they linking me to this car he then proceeds to ask me if I had a car in my name. I told him no. He then said well if you can’t get a car in your name then why are you calling? I said I never said I couldn’t get a car in my name I just don’t have one that’s in my name. I have one that was a gift from my husband that’s not in my name and then he told me I don’t make any sense. He was extremely rude but he would never tell me how my name came up in their database. He says to me you’re not the only person with that name so throw the letter away. This is a scam and needs to be shutdown.

Got piece of post made up to look like official DMV/MVD notice -- presorted postage, "time sensitive notice", "for vehicle owner only" "vehicle services division" -- with a fake check for $199.

Information was make & model & year of recently purchased car and name and mailing address, I'm guessing all of which is sadly publicly available information.

Mailed postcard and letter saying my warranty would expire and it is URGENT that I call. "Anna" would not tell me her company name and barely her own name. They have all info on my vehicle. She kept putting me on hold.
