I received a letter in the mail which looked like a check that i would sign and return to them for $199.00. In the letter it said, " This letter is to inform you that the vehicle coverage on your 2019 Jeep Null (which iv never owned one) may be expiring or may have already expired. Please call IMMEDIATRELY as this will be our FINAL NOTICE TO NOTIFY YOU; 1-888-413-6075. Please respond by 4-4-2025.

- Raymond, WA, USA

This scam came in the form of a letter that had no real business name, address, or any other contact information besides a phone number (1-888-413-6075). The letter claims that I have a limited time (8 days) to contact them in regard to my vehicle's service contract. The letter goes on to explain that "by neglecting to activate your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires..." The letter continues on, but you get the idea. There is absolutely nothing on the back side of the letter. This letter has been sent by Catherine Beaumont, Program Coordinator, with the same contact number previously listed.

We have received multiple letters via postal mail about this scam. I am unable to find any website, address or postal address for this business. The letter just wants us to call 888-413-6075. We have received multiple letters for a vehicle which we have never owned: a Jeep Compass. I searched for them in an effort to get these scam letters stopped but whomever is running this scam has made sure no reply can be made.

Continue receiving mail that contains a Registration Fee Voucher in the amount of $199.00 stating Final Notice. It claims the vehicle coverage is expiring trying to get you to purchase a vehicle protection plan. Luckily the name they have is incorrect and the vehicle was totaled months ago. When I blocked my number to call the ###-###-#### and someone finally answered, it was a girl did not answer with a business name just a hello. I stated I was receiving mail for a vehicle that didn't exist. She asked me for the ID number on the letter and while I claimed I was attempting to locate that on this letter, the person hung up.

They are posing as a vehicle factory warranty, stating you must call and activate warranty, or your warranty will expire and you will be liable for all factory repairs. I did not call the number because it looked fishy, or phishy in this case.

Letter was received from Mark Smith Program Coordinator 1-888-413-6075. They called my husband and he paid $195.00 for a car warranty. When he got home and told me about it, I knew it was a scam. We already have warranty because I already paid for that when I got the car. Now these people have my husband's bank card information and car information.

I received a letter in the mail that had my name, car information. It stated that my cars factory warranty was either expired or about to expire due to me not contacting them about my vehicle services contract. It then states that I need to call 1-888-413-6075 to get this taken care of. The letter had the name Mark Smith Program Coordinator on it followed again by the same number. The letters also stated that if I did not contact them right away about renewing my factory warranty, I would financially be reliable for any and all repairs on my car. When looking at this letter I thought that it was legit, but then started to notice that their where things on their that seemed suspicious to me. I called my dealership about the letter and they told me that it was most likely a scam and that I am good. I even called the number and they made it sound like a legit business. The guy on the phone was claiming to be Mark Smith and tried really hard to get me to pay $4800 to renew my factory warranty. When I told him that I contacted my dealership about this and that they told me that I was good and up t date on everything, he then hung up.

This letter is to inform you that if your factory warranty has expired, you will be financially liable for all repairs or wreckers, and the key that you have not contacted us to get your service update you have the option to protect your vehicle be on the factory warranty.

Attention: [Name]

Please call 188-4136075 with Vin and current mileage before October 18, 2024. Our records indicate that you have not contacted us regarding the vehicle service contract on your vehicle. However, we still have time left to activate coverage on your vehicle before it’s too late. Final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements. This may be our only attempt to contact you about activating your vehicle service contract. We reserve the right to revoke your intelligibility for service coverage. If you do not need your criteria. Call within five days to ensure eligibility.

Sincerely,

Mark Smith

Program Coordinator

Claim to be a factory vehicle warranty service. Final notice to sign up for the service is mailed every month. Vehicle is no longer owned, but post cards arrive each month. Vehicle is a General Motors product, but their warranty is NOT from GM and therefore NOT a factory warranty. Stay away from this company!
