Continue receiving mail that contains a Registration Fee Voucher in the amount of $199.00 stating Final Notice. It claims the vehicle coverage is expiring trying to get you to purchase a vehicle protection plan. Luckily the name they have is incorrect and the vehicle was totaled months ago. When I blocked my number to call the ###-###-#### and someone finally answered, it was a girl did not answer with a business name just a hello. I stated I was receiving mail for a vehicle that didn't exist. She asked me for the ID number on the letter and while I claimed I was attempting to locate that on this letter, the person hung up.

They are posing as a vehicle factory warranty, stating you must call and activate warranty, or your warranty will expire and you will be liable for all factory repairs. I did not call the number because it looked fishy, or phishy in this case.

Letter was received from Mark Smith Program Coordinator 1-888-413-6075. They called my husband and he paid $195.00 for a car warranty. When he got home and told me about it, I knew it was a scam. We already have warranty because I already paid for that when I got the car. Now these people have my husband's bank card information and car information.

I received a letter in the mail that had my name, car information. It stated that my cars factory warranty was either expired or about to expire due to me not contacting them about my vehicle services contract. It then states that I need to call 1-888-413-6075 to get this taken care of. The letter had the name Mark Smith Program Coordinator on it followed again by the same number. The letters also stated that if I did not contact them right away about renewing my factory warranty, I would financially be reliable for any and all repairs on my car. When looking at this letter I thought that it was legit, but then started to notice that their where things on their that seemed suspicious to me. I called my dealership about the letter and they told me that it was most likely a scam and that I am good. I even called the number and they made it sound like a legit business. The guy on the phone was claiming to be Mark Smith and tried really hard to get me to pay $4800 to renew my factory warranty. When I told him that I contacted my dealership about this and that they told me that I was good and up t date on everything, he then hung up.

Claim to be a factory vehicle warranty service. Final notice to sign up for the service is mailed every month. Vehicle is no longer owned, but post cards arrive each month. Vehicle is a General Motors product, but their warranty is NOT from GM and therefore NOT a factory warranty. Stay away from this company!

Multiple postage received with generic verbiage as outlined in the description that already exists. No business, no outlined affiliation, nothing more than a phone number with my name, make, and model. Requesting VIN and urgently stating that I may be liable “if” my factory warranty has expired

- Carrboro, NC, USA • Aug 19, 2024

I have received several postal letters informing me that the factory warranty for my car has expired. These letters use my real name alongside my car's accurate make, model, and VIN number. These letters are signed by various people/entities. This began occurring after I entered my vehicle information into the state of Michigan's DMV website to get a new title for my car and also obtained a new NC driver's license. In addition, around the same time, just before I began receiving these letters, I provided my information and my vehicle's information to Progressive Insurance.
