I was trying to call Bank of America but must have mis-dialed. I told the person I was connected to that I was calling Bank of America with some questions about mortgage rates, and he said yes he would be able to help me with that. First he said he needed to verify my address and birth date and he would also have a $100 gift voucher from the state government mailed to my home. Unfortunately I gave him my address and birthdate before realizing this was probably a scam. I told him I had to go and he gave me another # to reach him (954) 375-9589. He said his name was Justin ID#B204 and that he was the Floor Manager. When I called the (888) 388-3720 number back again, a woman answered and I asked her if this was a banking institution and she said no. She said it was the "Redemption Center" which promotes goods and services.
