Type of a scam: Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Activation of Service Contract

Received a notice that I must contact 888-291-7350 to activate for protection of my vehicle. I will then have 24 hr road side assistance, towing, and rental assistance. I researched the contact name, Steven Matthews and company name of Secure Automotive Protection, O'Fallon MO and neither exist.

Auto Insurance Activation

I received a letter with a message stating that I needed to call to activate coverage. If I didn't know to look and hadn't also recently gotten my new cards from my carrier online I might have fallen for the scam. I know to research unsolicited mail correspondence. Please report these people.

U S Mail solicitation to purchase Extended Warranty on vehicle (which is all ready provided by manufacturer). Mailing included a "Protection Temporary Identification Card." Requested a call to their 888-291-7350 phone number with the mileage on the vehicle on which they already knew the make and model

ScamPulse.com has record of such a solicitation using a different address with the name of the name Steven Mathews.

Subject mail received in a window envelope with no other identification but stamped "PRSTD STD, US POSTAGE PAID, St. Louis, MO, Permit No. 3252"
