Hi BBB, For the past month, I’ve been receiving around atleast a call per day from different phone numbers with the various area codes. The callers from 888-269-4978 Loan Services leave voicemail messages stating that my personal loan for $56,000 has received final approval and that they need ADDITIONAL information. However, I have not applied for any loans. The message instructs me to call back at 888-269-4978, and the caller is a female voice that may be AI-generated. I would like to report this activity, as it appears to be a scam and an daily annoyance. Thank you.

I am receiving multiple calls a day and voice messages left from 888-269-4978 Loan Services asking me to call underwriting for a loan that I didn't apply for. No corporate name is provided and the number I am directed to call is not registered to a legitimate business. This is very annoying and is a disturbance to my day. I have not been able to block the calls. They are using different phone #'s from different area codes.

Receiving voicemails from 888-269-4978 Loan Services everyday multiple times a day because they're blocked. Leaving me around 18-30 voicemails at the end the week. The Caller, Bot , and AI leave me the following voicemails with little name or business changes as "Hello, this is Marissa, the senior loan specialist, assigned to your file. Good afternoon. This is Marissa Morgan with the loan review unit and I'm the assigned underwriter to your file. I see notes here. We took another look at your file earlier this week and it appears you almost approved for $56,000. Depending on your income situation, you have 3 terms and options to select from. I just wanted to connect so we can walk through the details together and go over your terms and finalize your funding. When you get a chance, please give me a call back at 888-269-4978. Again, that's 888-269-4978. I'll be available most of the afternoon and would be happy to go over everything with you."

It's absolutely annoying.

Hi BBB, For the past two weeks, I’ve been receiving around five calls per day from different phone numbers with the 364, 302, 321...area codes. The callers leave voicemail messages stating that my personal loan has received final approval and that they need ADDITIONAL information. However, I have not applied for any loans.

The message instructs me to call back at 888-269-4978, and the caller is a female voice that may be AI-generated. This appears to be a scam operation based in South-central, KY, USA.

I would like to report this activity, as it appears to be a scam and an daily annoyance.

This company, 888-269-4978 Loan Services, recently reviewed your file again and it looks like you may qualify for an approval. At this point, we're just missing a couple final details before everything can be completed. I did want to connect with you personally so we can go ver your options. Including different term lenghts and what works best for your situation. It should be a pretty simple process once we speak.
