A scammer called my elderly mom, who is 84 years old, and said they were the IRS and that my mom owed money. My mom has not had to pay taxes since 2018. My mom did not answer the call, but the owing money to the IRS message was on her voicemail. My mom said the same lady has called her under different phone numbers. Harassing our elderly - and all citizens - has got to stop.
