Type of a scam: Online Purchase

Honeyandpine.

I ordered some glasses from them. One pair with an upgrade. They are now trying to bill my debit card monthly for about 30 dollars. I did not sign up for a subscription of any kind.
They claim to be based in Charleston SC, and yet the phone number is out of New York? Ya that's not suspicious at all. And the item I ordered, complete crap and did none of what they claimed in adverts or on the website. But that's on me for even ordering it.

I ordered 2 fidget toys for my grandchildren. It was a one time purchase from Honey and Pine...or so I thought. Unbeknownst to me, this organization apparently signs people up for a "membership" and monthly subscription. I did not sign up for this and after checking online I see that this is a pretty common practice for this scammer (over 100 negative reviews about this very situation.) They have a lot of different names they use (Honey and Pine, Essence & Honey, Syrup and Honey to name the few I am now aware of) and while they have a physical address in America (South Carolina) when I checked the shipping info it was through YunExpress from China! Even scarier, the credit card I used for my one time purchase had been compromised and replaced with a new card after I made this purchase and this company (Now using the name Essence and Honey) was able to hack into my husbands credit card to start billing the "subscription" I never authorized. Our banking institution suggested we report this to you in hopes of stopping this fraudulent behavior.
